De expositie bestaat uit zeer divers werk, want er is gebruik gemaakt van verschillende onderwerpen, materialen en technieken. De schilders zijn, Stien Wedman, Winke de Boer, Sjike van der Meer, Sibrich Schokker, Berend Drent, Marie de Boer, Froukje Zwier, Maertjse, Magriet Mol en Trijntsje Sikkema. Tijdens de openingshandeling heeft Griet Tilma (moeder van Bertina, haar inspirator) het expositie boek onthuld. Bertina is a self-taught painter, because what she sees that she paints! Being creative is something she has learned at home and what belongs to her. As a young girl she was always busy with colors and compositions. Around eleven years old, she made her first watercolor painting and since 2004 has become her passion.
